Introducing AIOMeta
Hey there! For those already in the know I have a site that allows for easier streaming of content. In my effort to always be searching for improvements, AKA being a nerd, leading to this new addon as an option for anyone using my services.
Alongside that, there are further updates for Awoostreams which I'd like to note and general information for users going toward. If you don't want to do this manually, you can simply just send me your auth token if you want to avoid giving me your login or your stremio login if you want me to manage if further.
First Off, Awoostreams
First don't panic about the possibility of the addon breaking on these changes. All of these are nondestructive in nature. First of all, Stremio by how it functions, doesn't auto-update addons even after server side changes occur. The changes however are rather nice but small. It simply adds compatibility for the new addon I've begun to host alongside adding new categories to your home menu and adds more sources behind giving larger categories.
How To?
Navigate over to this website that operates as one of my backends for Awoostreams, it actually proxies media to my server, bypassing some IP restrictions with the addons that Awoostreams wraps inside of itself. Login via either your email or your auth token, I have the backend set to hide information so I can't see it. Auth tokens are much more secure since they last as long as you're logged into the original device. There are instructions on the site to get the auth token for yourself.
AIOMetadata? What's that?
The addon is simply a replacement for the cinemeta engine that Stremio default comes with, it comes with more metadata. It is also installed in your Awoostreams as the default category provider for the wrapper addon itself. However the reason why I can't just toss it into Awoostreams is because it will fail to add categories or even just no metadata being sent to the account :/
It is a nice bonus, but not required.
You can use the website above to install and reorder it to the top.
To disable the Cinemeta engine, use this. Like mine, it needs a stremio login or auth token.
Final Notes:
I will be releasing the passwords to your awoostreams addon panel soon, allowing you to change quality settings, sources, catalogs, subtitles, etc.
Also remember your url for installing Awoostreams! On the official web player, you can install the addon allowing you to bypass needing to login.
